About Lulo
Our mission is to make it easy for families to put more food on the table every month.
We build tools that enhance the social safety net and we’re starting with the Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants, and Children, or WIC.
We aim to turn over one billion in WIC benefits that go unredeemed each year into food on the table for families and dollars for local businesses.
We envision a future where families of all backgrounds can redeem all of their WIC food benefits in a way that respects their time, dignity, and culture.
At Lulo, our digital infrastructure is reducing barriers to food access, tackling the time tax on caregivers, and reimagining benefits systems in a scalable, human-centered way.
Our Impact
Built with over 100 WIC families, the Lulo app leverages participatory design principles to build an impactful and delightful tool.
Families using Lulo show increases in WIC benefits redemption of 6% points and over 90% report significant time savings. On average families save 27 minutes per WIC shopping trip thanks to Lulo.

My mom used to do the shopping for me and now this is just - Lulo is such a pretty way to finally understand what I am doing.”
