How do I check my WIC balance in New York?

There are a few ways you can check your eWIC balance in New York:

  1. Log in to the ebtEDGE website

  2. Check your last receipt

  3. Call the number on the back of your eWIC card

  4. Request a balance inquiry at a New York WIC authorized store

  5. Download the Lulo app

The Lulo app shows you your WIC balance and exactly what you can purchase with your WIC benefits.

How do I use my eWIC card?

You can use your eWIC card to shop for WIC foods at a New York authorized WIC store.

You must have your eWIC card with you at the store to make a purchase. When shopping for WIC foods, be sure to check your WIC benefits balance and check which foods are allowed.

Be sure to swipe your eWIC card first, before any other forms of payment. Any remaining balance can be paid with SNAP, cash, debit, or credit. Then, enter your 4-digit PIN when asked.

For more details on using your eWIC card, see here.

What if I’m having an issue with my benefits?

A smartphone screen displays the WIC app showing Whole Grains section with a bread product and a barcode, and text indicating 32 ounces remaining, with an April 16 redemption date, on a light green background.

Contact your local WIC agency if you are experiencing an issue with your WIC benefits. You can find your local WIC agency using this WIC Clinic locator.
